Martina and Andrew have been owners and managers of Wisteria Lodge for over 20 years. They are passionate about quality of care residents receive and always strive to improve the care service provided. Wisteria Lodge has an excellent reputation within the local medical teams and community and they are so very proud of the team. Martina has a Ba(Hons) in Business Management and Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care and Andrew is NEBOSH/IOSH Health and Safety trained along with hospitality and leadership trained. Andrew was also previously in the fire brigade.
Honey is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years experience working within the hospital and the nursing home setting. Honey has been our Nurse Angel sprinkling magic dust over her fabulous nurses and care assistants who take wonderful care of our residents. Honey has worked with Wisteria Lodge since 2017.
Business Support Manager
Lalson has overall 20 plus years’ experience in various Business Management roles abroad and including 10 plus years’ experience in the UK Care Home industry. His role is to provide key support to the Directors and act as a focal point for all departments. Manage administration for the business, including budgets, audits, and various project management. Support documentation and processes for business and financial initiatives.
Lalson is qualified to Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership and Management / Business Administration.
RGN / Lead GSF Coordinator
Sheeba has over 18 years’ experience as qualified Staff Nurse and is our lead GSF (Gold Standard Framework) coordinator for Palliative Care.
Our registered nursing team are all highly experienced and all have specialities such as wound care, diabetes and Dementia care and continually attend training to keep abreast of new clinical advances.
Peter has over 20 years’ experience in Hospitality, Facilities and Maintenance looking after MOD sites including high profile residences for the Admiralty.
Taking the lead of maintenance at Wisteria Lodge includes Fire Safety, Legionella awareness and maintaining the IT system. It also includes the day to day running repairs plus painting, decorating and maintaining the home at very high standards of Wisteria Lodge.
James is a fantastic Chef with many years’ experience and joined Wisteria in 2019. An extremely experienced Head Chef with a background in working high volume catering establishments. James started his carrier as a Chef after leaving school and college. With a varied career including working in New York, Ireland, and was also the Head Chef at the Bat & Ball in Hambledon.
James meets daily and interacts with the residents to ensure he meets their dietary needs and has been successfully managing the kitchen at Wisteria Lodge.
Lynn is one of our domestic angels, she helps to keep the building as beautifully clean as you would your own home.
